LGBTQIA+ Therapy

You are worthy of safety, equality, love and support. Exactly as you are.

LGBTQIA+ identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, or asexual. They might define gender and sexuality in other ways to the cis heterosexual ideals.

Unfortunately, they must deal with discrimination, homophobia, stigma and difficult experiences coming out. Due to this, the LGBTQIA+ community are more likely to suffer from:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Low self-worth & self-esteem

  • Self-harm

  • Suicidal thoughts

If you are searching for a queer therapist, please get in touch!

There can be difficult emotions for those within the LGBTQIA+ community, including:

  • Guilt & anger

  • Shame & confusion

  • Embarrassment

  • Fear & rejection

I pride myself (pun intended) on having an open and inclusive therapeutic environment. A safe space for all, to be who they truly are. My aim for everyone is to leave therapy with more:

  • Confidence & resilience

  • Self-acceptance

  • Comfort in their own bodies

  • Freedom of self-expression
